Area information

Elm, the ski area in the Glarus Alps in the Glarnerland region, is the perfect destination for all winter sports enthusiasts. Perfectly groomed slopes and a 4-kilometre toboggan run down to the valley await. Thanks to one of the most modern snowmaking systems in the world, 35% of all slopes can be covered with artificial snow. Snow is guaranteed.

Those exploring on foot can enjoy beautiful winter hiking trails through snow-covered forests, with views of the famous and legendary Martinsloch.

Numerous restaurants in the area, including Munggä Hüttä, Älpli and Bergrestaurant Ämpächli, offer a wide range of culinary delights.

For a truly special winter experience, combine dinner in one of the romantic mountain huts with an evening toboggan run.
